Do you struggle in your choir because you cannot sing at sight? Can't Post

SIGHT SINGING WITH BARBARA ALDEN

Mon 28 - Wed 30 Jan

Tutor: Barbara Alden

Does written music seem like a foreign language and inhibit you from auditioning for a choir? Beginning at the beginning, Barbara Alden provides you with simple tools to help dispel the mystique (or possibly phobia!) of reading music and firmly set on the road to fuller participation in choral singing. Barbara gently introduces you to the concept of rhythmic notation and, using hand signs, to tonic sol-fa. Some basic theory is included with the practical work, and Barbara also gives hints for further practice. A small additional charge of L8 – L10 for exercise sheets and a sight singing book is payable directly to Barbara at the course.
