Uppingham Singing Day with David Hill on Saturday 16th February 2013 at Uppingham School Chapel Can't Post

You are welcome to take part in a special day of singing. David Hill leads us in some of the finest ceremonial choral music ever written - no experience is necessary!

David Hill is renowned for his fine musicianship and is widely respected as both a choral and orchestral conductor. His talent has been recognised by his appointments as Chief Conductor of The BBC Singers, Music Director of The Bach Choir and Director of Music at St John's College, Cambridge to name but a few.

Zadok the Priest, I was Glad, Hear My Words Ye People and Blest Pair of Sirens are some of the pieces we will be singing and we will be rounding off the day with Handel's celebratory Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah.

Cost is £20 per person including tea and coffee and £5 for Students and accompanied Under 16s.

Timetable of the day: 10.00-10.30 Registration and tea and coffee; 10.30-12.30 warm up and rehearsal; 14.00-16.30 rehearsal; 16.30 tea and coffee; 17.00 performance (free admission for public)
