Do you like singing in English cathedrals? Can't Post

Cantus is a choir that only sings at English cathedrals while the regular choirs are on vacation.

We don't have regular rehearsals - we meet over weekends and have the first rehearsal on the Saturday morning. This means that should you be interested in singing with us, you need to have a good level of sight reading skill.

The repertoire is a mix of old and well known and new, sometimes challenging, but always balanced to make sure the weekend is enjoyable rather than a musical workout!

The choir ethos is that a social life is as important as the music, so when away on the weekend, we all go to dinner together on the Saturday evening so no one is left on their own in a strange town.

If this sounds of interest and you'd like to sing with the choir, please email the conductor at "phil at cantus.co.uk" and tell him about yourself.

Cantus.
