Calling all singers - superb opportunity Henley and Reading! Can't Post

If you love to sing, love opera, and love choral music, then you will love not one, but two, irresistible opportunities to sing the magnificent Verdi Requiem under the direction of inspirational conductor Will Dawes.

Organised by Henley Choral Society, The Verdi Requiem Workshop takes place from 10.30am – 4.00pm on Saturday 23rd April, 2013 at St Mary’s, Henley-on-Thames. It will be followed by an informal performance at 5.00pm. The early-bird fee is £15.00 p.p. for bookings before March 31st and £20.00 thereafter. Under 25s are free.

Singers joining the Workshop will also be invited to attend a number of rehearsals and sing the Verdi Requiem at Reading Concert Hall on Saturday June 8th with Southern Sinfonia, Sophie Bevan, Kate Symonds Joy, David Butt-Philip and James Oldfield. This follows our acclaimed and sell-out performance of The Creation in Reading in 2012. With a massive chorus (including you!) full symphony orchestra and superb professional soloists this promises to be a spectacular occasion!

To attend the Workshop, please return the attached application form. We hope the form provides all relevant information but please do not hesitate to contact Jenny Fleming on 01491 575165 email: hcsaltos@gmail.com with any questions.

The form can also be downloaded at www.henleychoralsociety.org.uk

If you cannot attend the Workshop but would still like the opportunity to sing the Verdi Requiem in Reading in June then please email Jenny on hcsaltos@gmail.com

Please bring this opportunity to the attention of fellow singers. 2013 is Verdi’s bicentenary - don’t miss this opportunity to sing the magnificent Verdi Requiem!
