Come and Sing - Stainer's Crucifixion - LONDON

St. Mary's Parish Church, Battersea, SW11 3NA, invites singers to 'come and sing' Stainer's Crucifixion on 24th March at 6:30pm. Featuring two excellent young soloists: Tom Drew and Ashley Mercer, the work will be conducted by Tyrone Whiting and accompanied on the organ by Joseph Ashmore.
This will be a great chance to sing some brilliant music in a friendly atmosphere. Practice scores are available if needed and scores will be provided on the day.
Attached is a poster for the event to share with friends and other potential singers!
Singers are invited to rehearsal on Wednesday 20th March (7:30pm-8:45pm) with the Choir of St. Mary's. There will also be an afternoon rehearsal on the 24th March at 4:30pm. Due to the small amount of rehearsal time, it is expected that singers will be of a good music reading ability and/or know the work already.
