THE NEW LONDON RUSSIAN CHOIR - OPEN TO ALL
ALL BACKGROUNDS AND SINGING LEVELS ARE INVITED
Starting with introductory sessions on 16 and 30 April
Come and enjoy Russian harmony singing. Experience traditional lyrical songs, ritual calendar singing for pagan holidays, wedding songs, Art songs and Russian classical music – all with attention to history and style. We are planning to perform at events and festivals too. Sessions will be led in English by a Russian musician, all texts will be translated and transliterated.
Venue – Room G05 in 26 Bedford Way WC1H 0AP (University College London) near Kings Cross.
Time –weekly sessions will start in May on THURSDAYS at 6.30-8.30pm
Fee - £6.50 per session
