Well-established East Cambridgeshire mixed voices choir seeking tenors and basses Can't Post

A well-established amateur chamber choir based in East Cambridgeshire, the Cantilena Singers (www.cantilenasingers.org.uk), is currently seeking tenors and basses to join its back row. Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening from 7.45pm until 9.30pm at the school hall in Swaffham Bulbeck, and the singers usually decamp to the local pub afterwards for a drink and a chat. It's a very sociable group consisting of adult singers of all ages who get together for the sheer enjoyment of singing, and which performs in churches and other venues around Cambridgeshire three or four times per year.

The choir's next concert will be on July 20th in Burwell, and the programme will include works by Britten, Whitacre, Lauridsen, and others besides.

If anybody is interested in joining the choir, they can get in touch with the choir's chairman, Simon Andrews, via the email address contact@cantilena.info or find more information at the web site www.cantilenasingers.org.uk.

Thanks!
