Bristol Choral Society has announced its 2013-14 season, including the popular annual Come & Sing day under the inspirational baton of conductor Adrian Partington:

Come & Sing Mozart Requiem
Saturday 29 March 2014, 11am
Colston Hall, Bristol

Hosted by Bristol Choral Society
with conductor Adrian Partington
Performance with orchestra and soloists at 6.30pm

Come and spend the day singing Mozart's Requiem under the direction of Adrian Partington, to prepare an evening performance with soloists and orchestra (New Bristol Sinfonia) in the South West's premier concert hall - Bristol's 2,000-seat Colston Hall.

All are welcome!

The Come & Sing workshop starts at 11am.
Performance 6.30pm (Audience tickets are also available for non-singers).

In addition to the Come & Sing, the choir will also stage the following concerts in the 2013-4 season:

* 23 November 2013 - Britten's War Requiem with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Gloucester Choral Society, Alwyn Mellor, James Gilchrist & Stephan Loges at Colston Hall
(and 16 November 2013 at Gloucester Cathedral)

* 21 December 2013 - Handel's Messiah (plus Mini Messiah family concert) - all from memory of course - at Colston Hall

* 14 February 2014 - Valentine's Day Opera Gala at Colston Hall

* 14 June 2014 - Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle at Bristol Cathedral

PLUS

Zimbe! with 300 Bristol primary school children and Jazz quintet on March 25 at Colston Hall

and

Janacek's Glagolitic Mass (for the Philharmonia Orchestra, conductor Jakub Hrusa) on Saturday 12 April 2014 at Colston Hall and Sunday 13 April 2014 at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
