In Borogoditsye Dyevo byRachmaninov, the English version of the Russian has the letter ŏ (in case this doesn't display correctly, it's a letter O with an open bracket symbol turned through 90 degrees anti-clockwise above it) as the second letter of Borogoditsyeand several other words.
What is the difference ofpronunciation between this letter and the normal English O?
