John Ruskin Choral Society Can't Post

The John Ruskin Society is a small friendly choir and we are looking for new members. All voices welcome, no voice test and no audition.

Low fees £30 per term or £75 for the year. We rehearse Wednesday nights at Shirley Methodist Church, Eldon Avenue, Shirley 7.45pm-9.45pm.

We sing a wide range of music and give three concerts a year: one with orchestra, one with organ and a light summer concert, plus sing Christmas carols at the Whitgift Centre for Charity.

Music this season includes Mozart - Coronation Mass, Schubert - Magnificat and Tantum Ergo, Vaughan Williams - Towards the Unknown Region, Ireland - Greater Love Hath no Man - Stanford - Songs of the Fleet and Songs from Walt Disney - Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah!

Please contact jrc-conductor@hotmail.co.uk for more information or just pop along one Wednesday evening.
