Intensive Summer Choral Workshop in Provence with founder members of the Hilliard Ensemble

Experienced choral singers (especially TENORS!) join us in Provence 9-17Aug. Led by Errol Girdlestone, international conductor and choir master and founder member of the Hilliard. Six hours rehearsing a day (more or less) with a performance at the end of the week + lots of good company and food and wine.
The week is appropriate for experienced choral singers with good sight-reading ability, as well as those able to do their own prior preparation.
Repertoire for 2014: Britten 'A Boy was Born' & Brahms 'Fest und gedenkspruche'. Plus madrigal work with Paul Elliott, tenor and also founder member of the Hilliard.
Cost:260 euros. Hotel accommodation with pool can be arranged; all rooms are en suite and have air conditioning.
