We're extremely proud to launch our 14/15 season this week; this year we have the privilege of performing alongside a host of talented soloists, including baritone Simon Keenlyside, cellist Raphael Wallfisch, countertenor Iestyn Davies and soprano Elin Manahan Thomas and will be showcasing several premieres, including our commissioned piece by the late Sir John Tavener, 'O where, tell me where?', and the world premiere BBC recording of Bob Chilcott's 'Angry Planet'. We're delighted with the collaborations we're undertaking and excited to hear from you all. As a proudly independent choir, singing members of The Bach Choir undertake much of the day-to-day running, including choosing the concert programme and are passionate about music making; you are welcome to ask us questions about the upcoming events here on Gerontius. Come and find out more about what the season holds in store by visiting us at: http://www.thebachchoir.org.uk/news/david-hill-introduces-the-bach-choirs-2014-15-season-of-concerts We're also offering a 25% discount with season tickets for our Royal Festival Hall four concert series. Find out more here: http://bit.ly/1qRC6V2 Nice to meet you all and look forward to some lively discussions about the music we love to perform!
