Vacancies for adult singers at St Martin's Parish Church, Brighouse, West Yorkshire Can't Post

Our choir is continuing a long established choral tradition at St Martin’s Brighouse singing a wide range of good choral music from all periods and leading the congregational singing. The choir’s regular singing commitments are Sunday mornings, except the first Sunday of the month and Sunday evening (Choral Evensong) on the third Sunday of the month, choir practice is on Thursday evening. There are additional singing commitments at times such as Christmas, Lent and Easter and when there are special services.
The choir is a mixed and friendly team of adults and children who enjoy the benefits of singing good music together. We learn new music fairly quickly and are always expanding our repertoire.
We could do so much more with one or two more members and so we would welcome music reading adult singers for any of the voice parts (SATB). Ideally we are looking for singers who will join our choir but we are also interested in good music reading singers who can make some regular commitments as ‘helpers’. Singing is good for you and the music is glorious – take the first step and get in touch for a chat or for more information.
