ST JAMES SINGERS, a small amateur male voice ensemble based in South Oxfordshire, is looking for a high TENOR and a BASS. This a capella group performs 10 -12 concerts per annum drawing on a wide repertoire covering 12 centuries of sacred and secular song. Rehearse Wednesday nights. No formal audition required. Sight-singing not critical. Enthusiasm, commitment and an ability to carry a line is essential. 2005 is an exciting year for us in which we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar and the 500th anniversary of Tallis, in words and music.
