Singing for Syrians 'Come and Sing' Mozart's Requiem on Saturday, 27th January, 2018 Can't Post

Singing for Syrians 'Come and Sing' Mozart's Requiem on 27th January, 2018 from 10.30am-5pm with an informal concert at 6pm-7pm at Holy Trinity with All Saints Church, Prince Consort Road, London, SW7 2BA.

WE ARE KEEN TO EXPAND THE NUMBER OF TENORS AND BASSES AT OUR COME & SING ON 27TH JAN, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP IF YOU WOULD LIKE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SING THIS WONDERFUL REQUIEM. THANK YOU!

To kick off the musical calendar for 2018, Singing for Syrians is back with another 'Come & Sing' ! This time the featured work is Mozart's iconic Requiem, written at the end of his life and loved by singers and audiences the world over. Everyone is welcome to come and sing this fabulously dramatic piece - all you need to do is buy, borrow or hire a copy of the BARENREITER URTEXT - edition of the Mozart Requiem vocal score. If you have the Novello, (Sussmayr edition) we can also cope. PLEASE NOTE - copies WILL NOT be available on the day.

This year our esteemed conductor is David Wordsworth, who lead our 'Come & Sing' last January, at which we performed Howard Goodall's 'Eternal Light'. David is perhaps best known as Music Director of the Addison Singers, but is also Associate Director of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London for 2018 and has conducted choirs of all kinds in many parts of the world.

We hope to see you there!
