Join Petros Singers for A Royal Occasion, a singing workshop celebrating 400 years of music written for and performed at royal weddings, coronations and funerals.
We're delighted to welcome James Vivian – Director of Music at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle – to lead the workshop. As one of the few people to have conducted at a major royal ceremonial event in recent years, and certainly the only person to have conducted at two, he is uniquely qualified!
James will lead singers through a selection of music including Parry’s I Was Glad and Zadok the Priest by Handel, amongst other favourites. Friends and family are invited to an informal concert at 5.30pm.
Saturday 2nd March 2019, 2-6pm (registration from 1.30pm).
St Peter’s Church, Black Lion Lane, Hammersmith, W6.
