Performance Weekend 5-6 Nov: Tallis Spem / Rach Vespers

Exmoor Singers of London is hosting its eleventh Tallis Performance Weekend on 5th-6th November. This year we will form the Tallis D choir to mark the 500th anniversary of Thomas Tallis' birth. We will perform:
Tallis' 40-part motet Spem in Alium
Mäntyjärvi's Psalm 150
Rachmaninov Vespers
with
A choir specially formed for the event, Tallis-D
An intensive weekend's music-making
Training in these fabulous pieces
Professional coaching in Church Slavonic
Finnish composer Jaakko Mäntyjärvi participating
Free party on Saturday
Public concert in St Alban the Martyr, Holborn, on Sunday
The cost for the weekend is £45 (£10 for full time students), plus music purchase/hire.

Tallis Weekends are regularly hosted by Exmoor Singers of London, one of
London's top amateur chamber choirs. This year's event, 'Tallis-D',
