New Training Choir in NWest - musical opportunities Can't Post

Hi,

I am starting a new trainer choir in the Liverpool/Southport/Wigan area with the aim of providing opportunities for singers of all ages to participate in good, live choral music making.

I would love any composers to suggest pieces of theirs for us to perform - compositions for a training choir therefore be aware of levels of difficulty etc.

Concerts will feature my choir, the Occasional Singers who will provide a 'backbone' of good quality choral sound and lend a sense of reliability and assurance to the new singers. Hopefully, members of the new Training Choir will go on to become valued members in the Occasional Singers and other local choirs. More details will be found on the website that I am in the process of setting up - temporary address is as follows www.zyworld.com/taketwo/otc/Home.htm but web address www.theotc.co.uk should be online in a few days. New members will be welcomed, contact me for details, the choir already has over 15 members in the first few days.

Thanks, Jim

If you are going to involve children as well as adults, I have some pieces of varying difficulty designed for such a mix. They are For Every Child - the children's rights songbook. I live in Lancaster Get in touch if you are interested.
